Remarks. In the Neotropical Region in the broad sense, Oropezella includes twenty-five species, with twenty species from Brazil, four from Costa Rica, and only one species known from Chile ( Ale-Rocha & Freitas-Silva 2014). This genus has representatives in New Zealand, Europe and Japan ( Plant 1989).
