Material examined. Hamadan province, Nahavand, 34°14′N 48°14′E, 1♀, May 2012. New record for Iran.
Distribution outside Iran. Armenia, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, former Czechoslovakia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Madeira Islands, Romania, Russia, former Yugoslavia ( Stigenberg and Ronquist 2011; Yu et al. 2012), Belgium ( Wesmael 1835 as Perilitus affinis ; Yu et al. 2012), Finland ( Yu et al. 2012; Stigenberg 2013; Stigenberg and Hansen 2013), Norway, Sweden ( Yu et al. 2012; Stigenberg and Hansen 2013), France, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, UK ( Stigenberg and Ronquist 2011; Yu et al. 2012; Stigenberg 2013), Hungary ( Papp 2008; Yu et al. 2012), Turkey ( Yilmaz et al. 2010; Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Archips oporana (Linnaeus) ( Lepidoptera : Tortricidae ), Dahlica fennicella (Soumalainen) , D. lichenella (Linnaeus) , Luffia ferchaultella (Stephens) , Psyche casta Pallas , Siederia alpicolella (Rebel) , S. listerella (Linnaeus) , Taleporia tubulosa (Retzius) ( Lepidoptera : Psychidae ), Infurcitinea argentimaculella (Stainton) ( Lepidoptera : Tineidae ), Scoparia basisytrigalis Knaggs ( Lepidoptera : Pyralidae ) ( Yu et al. 2012). Stigenberg and Hansen (2013) reported Infurcitinea argentimaculella (Stainton) ( Lepidoptera : Tineidae ).
