Distribution in Iran. Lorestan ( Ghahari et al. 2012; Sedighi and Madjdzadeh 2015).

Distribution outside Iran. Widely distributed and rather frequent in the Palaearctic region ( Papp 2009b). Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine (van Achterberg and Haeselbarth 2003; Yu et al. 2012), Belgium ( Wesmael 1835, 1838 as Microctonus vernalis ; Yu et al. 2012), Caucasia, Russia (( Belokobylskij 2000 as Syntretus testaceus ), Hungary ( Papp 1983 as S. vernalis ; Papp 2006; van Achterberg and Haeselbarth 2003; Yu et al. 2012), Madeira (van Achterberg and Aguiar 2009; Yu et al. 2012), Moldova ( Belokobylskij 2000 as Syntretus testaceus ; Yu et al. 2012), Mongolia ( Papp 2009b; Yu et al. 2012), Taiwan ( Papp 2004a as Syntretus testaceus ), UK ( Marshall 1887 as Microctonus vernalis ; Marshall 1887 as Microctonus cultus ; Shaw and Huddleston 1991 as S. vernalis ; Yu et al. 2012; Knowler and Broad 2014).
