Distribution in Iran. Guilan, Mazandaran ( Farahani et al. 2014b).
Distribution outside Iran. Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Wales (van Achterberg 1983; Yu et al. 2012), Greece (van Achterberg 1983 as Gnaptodon decoris ; Papp 2007; Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Parasitoid of Nepticulidae (Lepidoptera) in herbs and shrubs: In Netherlands it is reported from Trifurcula cryptella (Stainton) ( Lepidoptera : Nepticulidae ) on Lotus corniculatus and from Stigmella splendidissimella (Herrisch-schäffer) ( Lepidoptera : Nepticulidae ) on Rubus sp.; in Hungary, reported from same host on Coronella varia and from Stigmella geminella and on Sanguisorba officinalis ; in Wales reported from Stigmella sp. ( Lepidoptera : Nepticulidae ) on Rosa pimpinellifolia ; in Greese from Ectoedemia agrimoniea (Frey) ( Lepidoptera : Nepticulidae ) on Agrimonia agrimonoides ; in Hungary from Stigmella poterii (Stainton) ( Lepidoptera : Nepticulidae ) on Potentilla erecta Linnaeus and from S. plagicolella (Stainton) ( Lepidoptera : Nepticulidae ) on Prunus spinosa ; in Austria from Stigmella occultella (Heinemann) ( Lepidoptera : Nepticulidae ) on Potentilla sp.; in West Germany from S. betulicola nanivora Peterson ( Lepidoptera : Nepticulidae ) on Betula nana Linnaeus (van Achterberg 1983).
