To assist in the identification of the Chinese species of Lithobius (Sigibius) , the following key is offered. This key emphasizes characters that can be examined without high-magnification microscopy; moreover, these characters are specific to the taxa occurring in China.
1 Four ocelli on each side of cephalic plate, Tömösváry’s organ larger than the smallest ocellus..... L. (S.) trichinocaput sp. n. Six ocelli on each side of cephalic plate, Tömösváry’s organ about the size of the smallest ocellus. L. (S.) bullatus Eason, 1993 View in CoL
