Key to species of Platypalpus View in CoL from the Caucasus
The following key includes all species of Platypalpus recorded currently from the Caucasus, adapted with some modifications after Chvála (1989) and Grootaert & Chvála (1992). It is evident that many species of Platypalpus remain unknown from the Caucasus. So, the main purpose of our key is to provide rather rapid identification, the result of which should be checked in doubtful cases using keys and diagnoses given in the noted papers.
