Inoue in BMNH, examined), [ Japan]: Kagawa Pref(ecture), Takamatsu, Mt. Iwaseo (synonymised in Mironov & Galsworthy, 2010).

Misidentification: Eupithecia ericeata: sensu Vojnits, 1977 View in CoL (nec Rambur, 1833).

A widespread Palaearctic species ranging from the Canary Islands to Japan and the Kamtchatka Peninsula. Not previously recorded from Mongolia. Vojnits (1977) misidentified and published specimens of this species from Mongolia as E. ericeata View in CoL . Mongolia: Bulgan aimag.
