A Central Asian species ranging from northern Iran eastward to Mongolia ( Schütze, 1956; Mironov, 1991; Mironov et al., 2008b), but not previously recorded from Mongolia. There are long series of this species from Mongolia in the collections of ZSM (Munich), ZISP (Saint Petersburg) and IASE (Novosibirsk). The male genitalia of E. exactata were described and illustrated by de Laever (1956). In the same year Schütze (1956) described and illustrated both male and female genitalia. The single known specimen (holotype) of E. procera Vojnits undoubtedly belongs to E. exactata Staudinger. However , Vojnits' genitalia slide no. 892♂, which is referenced to this specimen, belongs to a species from the ” graphata ” group, presumably as the result of a labelling error. Mongolia (aimags): Bayan-Khongor, Khovd, Umnugovi.
