Shortly setosehispid, eglandular annual; stems 5-15 cm, ascending, usually simple. Leaves 3-5 x c. 1 cm, oblong to ovate-oblong, subentire, subobtuse. Calyx c. 5 mm at anthesis, 8-10 mm in fruit; teeth c. £ as long as tube. Corolla c. 8 mm; limb 3-6 mm in diameter, blue, divided to c. £ into ovate-orbicular lobes. Nutlets c. 3 mm, oblong-ovoid, erect, smooth, shiny, blackish; collar-like basal ring smooth. Aegean region and S.E. Bulgaria; naturalized in C. Italy. Bu G r [It]. N. rosea (Bieb.) Link , Enum.
