Stem with 3-8 pairs of branches. Cauline internodes not more than 2 | times as long as the leaves. Lowest flower at node 9-16. Lower floral leaves usually not more than 9 mm, broadly ovate to trullate. Corolla 8-11 mm. Capsule 4-5 mm, not longer than the calyx. Dry grassland. • From Belgium to Italy. Probably of hybrid origin between 3(b) and 17.
