Type locality. "Gorah Tank, in front of LIC building, Nagpur Road", Madhya Pradesh, India ( Rane 1983b) .

Remarks. Valid species ( Korovchinsky 2011). Sharma B.K. & Sharma S. (1990) proposed this species as a junior synonym of Sarsilatona serricaudata ( Sars, 1901) . Korovchinsky (2004) first doubted to associate this taxon with any real species of Sarsilatona due to the inadequate original description, but then found this taxon in Vietnam and confirmed its validity ( Korovchinsky 2011).
