Remarks. Valid species described from Denmark ( Müller 1776). This is a rare taxon in India.

Distribution. According to Korovchinsky (2004), the Indian populations belong to the subspecies S. crystallina crystallina (O. F. Müller, 1776) , widely distributed in Eurasia. But the specimens from illustration of Biswas (1980) and Michael & Sharma B.K. (1988) could be interpreted as S. crystallina ortiva Korovchinsky, 1979 , so the status needs to be clarified.
