Remarks. Valid species described from Sri Lanka ( Daday 1898). The C. ventricosus- group needs to be revised worldwide: some differences between the Indian populations of C. ventricosus and C. reticulatus are shown in Michael & Hann (1979).
Distribution. “ Sri Lanka, India, China, Africa, South America” ( Smirnov 1996). Common in the Oriental zone ( Idris 1983; Maiphae et al. 2005; Tanaka & Ohtaka 2010).
