(100) Leydigiopsis curvirostris Sars, 1901 View in CoL s.lat.
Indian records. Assam — Sharma B.K. & Sharma S. (2007; 2008a, b; 2012) .
Remarks. South East Asian populations need to be revised, as Leydigiopsis is a typical Neotropical genus. L. curvirostris is a Neotropical taxon ( Sinev 2004c; Van Damme & Dumont 2010), but morphologically similar populations are known from the Oriental zone ( Sanoamuang 1998; Tanaka & Ohtaka 2010). They apparently belong to a separate species related to L. curvirostris , that needs to be described (Van Damme & Sinev, personal communication).
Distribution. Valid species described from Brazil ( Sars 1901). The Indian populations should be revised in comparison to the real L. curvirostris .
