Since there are relatively few biological notes on Mexican Buprestidae , and none for this species, noteworthy is the collection of four males on white flowers of Lantana sp. in Oaxaca, 27 km NNE, Sta. María Ecatepec, 16°23.071’, 95°47.688’, 860 m, 17-VII-2003, RLWE. Members of this genus are rarely collected from flowers.
