Body length: male: 3.65–3.86 mm, female: 3.7–4.25 mm.

Female genitalia. Sternite VII is about 2.3 times as wide as long, with nearly straight anterior margin, posterior margin concave, Central “M”-shaped protuberance ( Fig. 34 View FIGURES 33–42 ). Dorsal surface of Valvula I ( Figs. 39, 40 View FIGURES 33–42 ) and Valvula II ( Figs. 41, 42 View FIGURES 33–42 ) is similar to Mukariella pallipes .

HOLOTYPE: 1 ♂, China: Guangdong, Guangzhou city, Tianhe District, South China National Botanical Garden (23°19’N, 113°37’E), 22 November 2006, collectors: Xiangsheng Chen, paratypes: 2♂♂ 21♀♀, China: Guangdong, Guangzhou city, Tianhe District , South China National Botanical Garden (23°19’N, 113°37’E), 22 November 2006, collectors: Xiangsheng Chen. 11♂♂ 18♀♀, China: Fujiang, Nanping City, Wuyishan Nature Reserve , (26°67N, 117°96’E), 22 August 2019, collectors: Jing Wang, Yongjin Sui. Distribution. China (Guangdong, Jiangxi, Fujian).

Host Plant. Bambusa emeiensis Chia & Fung.

Note. This species is moved to Mukariella based on the following characteristics: (1) body tawny; (2) crown with pronounced forward extension, crown seam clearly visible; (3) frontoclypeus large flattened in lateral view; (4) aedeagus single-branched, terminal 1/3 with two pairs of spines, one gonopore.
