2.2.10 Sclerococcales View in CoL View at ENA ( Eurotiomycetes, Ascomycota)

Within the Eurotiomycetes, the discovery of an older name for the genus Dactylospora (Sclerococcum) has led to the introduction of a new subclass Sclerococcomycetidae for the order and family Sclerococcales , and Sclerococcaceae , respectively (Reblová´et al. 2017). Four apothecial marine fungi are included in this change: Sclerococcum haliotrephum , S. mangrovei , S. vrijmoediae from mangrove wood ( Jones et al. 1999; Kohlmeyer and Kohlmeyer 1965; Pang et al. 2014) and S. canariense from driftwood ( Kohlmeyer and Volkmann-Kohlmeyer 1998).
