Published data. Iran ( Pic 1911c, as Anthicus , Persia, checklist; Winkler 1927, as Anthicus , Persia, checklist; Сhandler et al. 2008, checklist); Lorestan ( Pic 1911a, as Anthicus ); Tehran (Uhmann 1985).

Chorotype. Сentro-Iranian (4.2.3.2.2) or Turanian (5.07 TUR).

Tenuicomus spp.

There are three species of this genus new to science in our Iran material. These species will be described in a separate publication.
