Diagnosis. Recognized by the small sized, body length 1.8–2.0; head yellowish; pronotum greenish ochraceous, scutellum green with yellow base, lateral margin and inner apical angle of clavus whitish, cuneus green, lateral margin broadly whitish; dorsum covered with sericeous setae; labium extending past meta-coxa; tibial spines with black bases.
Male genitalia ( Figs. 60–66 View FIGURES 49 – 61 View FIGURES 62 – 73 in Drapolyuk, 1982): Endosoma relatively thin, band-like, apex truncate and simple, without membrane, secondary gonopore invisible.
Host plants. Tamarix sp. ( Josifov, 1974; Linnavuori, 2010; Wagner, 1975).
Distribution. China (Xinjiang) ( Konstantinov and Vinokurov, 2011), Russia ( Fieber, 1864), Transsylvania ( Reuter, 1878), Rumania ( Reuter, 1894; Linnavuori, 1961), Mongolia ( Drapolyuk, 1982), Iran ( Linnavuori, 2010).
Remarks. This species was first reported for China from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region ( Konstantinov and Vinokurov, 2011). We could not examine specimens of this species, and the diagnosis based on original description.
