Type locality. PAPUA NEW GUINEA: Eastern Highlands: Aiyura [6°20’S, 145°53’S] 1800m. (L.J. Gressitt, 10, 1, 1964).

Type deposition. ANIC (Type no 32-069966).

Gyne diagnosis. General and diagnostic features, sculpturation, pilosity and colour as illustrated and in the key to Pacific species above.
