Eremiothrips arya View in CoL (zur Strassen 1975)
Yang et al. (1993) first recorded E. arya from China, and Han (1996) subsequently recorded 6 females and 7 males of this species. However, these authors did not provide a description, nor indicate the basis for the identification. Specimen information was not present in China ( NSII 2017 ) . A possible specimen of this species has been borrowed from Inner Mongolia, but unfortunately, detailed characters could not be observed because of the deterioration of the specimen. Presence of this species in China requires further confirmation.
Distribution. China (Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Xizang, Xinjiang); Iran.
