HOLOTYPE: AMNH 606713 About AMNH , adult female, collected on Waigeo (5 Waigiu) Island, 00.14S, 130.45E ( USBGN, 1982a), Papua Province, Indonesia, on 15 December 1902, by Johannes Waterstradt (no. 3211). From the Rothschild Collection. GoogleMaps

COMMENTS: Hartert cited Waterstradt’s unique field number of the holotype in the original description and noted that five specimens (including the holotype) were collected by Waterstradt in December 1902. Only three of the four paratypes came to AMNH with the Rothschild Collection: AMNH 606714, female, and AMNH 606715 and 606716, males.
