COMMENTS: When Deignan named this subspecies, he had borrowed specimens from many museums. The AMNH number of the holotype was cited in the original description. Two paratypes are in AMNH: AMNH 290585, female from Bac Ha, 23 December 1929, and AMNH 290586, male from Nam Da, 30 December 1929.
