LECTOTYPE: AMNH 455578 About AMNH , adult male, collected in ‘‘ Renthendorfer Nadelholzer’ ’, Germany, in June 1817. From the Brehm Collection via the Rothschild Collection.
COMMENTS: Hartert (1918a: 32) designat- ed the specimen collected in June 1817 the lectotype. Three additional specimens, AMNH 455577 About AMNH , 455579 About AMNH and 455580, cataloged as brachyrhynchos , were exchanged to ZFMK ; their status needs to be examined.
