HOLOTYPE: Adult male, collected at Tanke Salokko , 1500 m, Mengkoka Mountains , 03.39S, 121.15E ( Times Atlas ), Sulawesi Island (5 Celebes), Indonesia, on 11 January 1932, by Gerd Heinrich (no. 6514). GoogleMaps

COMMENTS: Under the funding agreement for the Heinrich Expedition, all types were to come to AMNH. However, probably due to the outbreak of World War II, this type remained in ZMB, number ZMB 34.2229 (S. Frahnert, in litt. 7 April 2005). Stresemann (1940: 102) noted that he had 13 specimens, including the type. Seven of the 12 paratypes came to AMNH: 300179–300182 and 300185–300187. The other paratypes are probably in Berlin.
