HOLOTYPE: AMNH 599295 About AMNH , adult male, collected in the primeval forest northwest of Baraka, 04.06S, 29.06E ( Chapin, 1954: 645), 1900 m, Kivu, Congo (Kinshasa), on 19 November 1908, by Rudolf Grauer (no. 3852). From the Rothschild Collection. GoogleMaps
COMMENTS: Hartert cited Grauer’s unique field number of the holotype in the original description and said that he had nine specimens, all collected by Grauer. The eight paratypes are: AMNH 599293, 599294, and 599296–599301.
