Figs. 43–44 View FIGURES 42 – 44 .
Description. Male. Unknown.
Female. Segment V (terminal segment of preabdomen) more or less extended, two-thirds to fully as long as preceding part of preabdomen. Oviscapt ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 42 – 44 ) very long and slender, 1.5–2.0 times as long as preabdomen when fully extended. Hypoproct ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 42 – 44 ) longer than wide, covered in cuticular pubescence.
Material examined. SPAIN [ ZMUC]: Lerida: Capdella, 1Ƥ 7.vii.1981 (V. Michelsen); SWITZERLAND [ ZMUC]: Wallis: Saas-Fee, 2000–2200m, 2Ƥ 21.vii.1965 (O. Lomholdt).
Distribution. Spain, Switzerland.
Remarks. The dimensions of the oviscapt in the present species suggest that its host plant has very extended petal stalks making the tubular entrance to the seed capsule both long and narrow.
