Material examined. INDIA • Gujarat, Bharuch district, Ankleshwar; transects T-01, T-03, T-06, T-08, T-09, T-10 ( Table 1); agricultural hedges or barren/discarded lands, suburban areas, industrial zone, and roadside vegetation. Identification. Pale brown or whitish underside, with brown streaks; underside forewing with large eyespot enclosed in a golden yellow ring; underside hindwing with six eye spots in three pairs; upperside forewing with distinct eyespot visible during basking.
