Linotetranus sibiriensis Khaustov & Khaustov, 2023

L. sibiriensis Khaustov & Khaustov, 2023 , 68. Russia, ex. soil in the steppe.

Material examined. Four females were collected from sand and grit near the Caspian Sea coast, Astara, Gilan Province, Iran, 38° 26’ 1” N, 48° 52’ 53” E, 22 April 2021, coll. M.M. Khanzadeh.

Type depository. Three females deposited at SBUK-No. Lin 2, one female deposited at JAZM .

Note. This is the second report of L. sibiriensis for the world and the first report from Iran. Previously, four species of Linotetranus have been recorded from Iran: L. niknami Bagheri & Haddad, 2008 ; L. astragalusi Khanjani et al. 2011 ; L. iraniensis Khanjani et al. 2011 ; L. eghbaliani Khanjani et al. 2012 ( Bagheri et al. 2008; Khanjani et al. 2011, 2012).
