TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, Sumatra, Bengkulen .
DISTRIBUTION: Malay Peninsula; Borneo; Sumatra; Junk Seylon; Kundur Isl, Bintang Isl. (Rhio Arch.); Batu Isis. (W. Sumatra); Bunguran Isl. (N. Natuna Isis.).
COMMENT: Subgenus Presbytis ; see Szalay and Delson, 1979:402. Includes fenwralis which was regarded as a separate species by Wilson and Wilson, 1977, Yearb. Phys. Anthro., 20:217-222.
PROTECTED STATUS: CITES - Appendix II as Order Primates .
