Known distribution. ARGENTINA, BRAZIL (Roraima), and VENEZUELA.
Remarks. This species was reported from Piauí by Takiya et al. (2016) as Nectopsyche cf. multilineata , having the need to confirm its identity. We confirmed the presence of N. multilineata from Piauí based on six males collected in three municipalities. Besides that, its presence in this study represents the first record for Northeastern Brazil.
