Female: (n=3) Body worm-like, 136 long; prodorsal shield 25 long, 32 wide, anterior lobe present; prodorsal shield design with granules on ridges, median lines from base to basal one-third (some specimens from base to half-way point, some specimens complete), admedian throughout, convex at basal one-third, many submedian lines; scapular tubercles set at prodorsal shield rear margin, setae (sc) 14 long, directed backward, sct-sct 17 apart; leg segments normal, foretibial seta (1') set at half, 6 long; 1st coxal setae (1b) 6 long, 1bt-1bt 9 apart, 2nd coxal setae (1a) 9 long, 1at-1at 10 apart, 3rd coxal setae (2a) 12 long, 2at-2at 18 apart; tip of solenidion spatulate; empodium simple, 4-rayed.
Opisthosoma: with about 86 microtuberculate rings; first 3 rings 3 long; lateral setae (c2) 16 long, c2t-c 2t 33 apart, c 2t \dt 36, c2t-dt 28; 1st ventral setae (d) 21 long, dt-dt 28 apart, dt\et 37, dt-et 31; 2nd ventral setae (e) 20 long, et-et 18 apart, et\ft 38, et-ft 42; 3rd ventral setae (f) 11 long, ft-ft 13 apart; setae h1 present.
Coverflap: 21 wide, 12 long, with about 12 longitudinal lines, genital setae (3a) 10 long, 3at-3at 17 apart.
Male: not seen.
Specimens examined: 3 females, Wulai, Taipei; 2-Dec.-1995, C. M. Wang; ex. Litsea hypophaea Hayata (Lauraceae) .
Relation to host: Erineum on the lower leaf surface.
Distribution: Singapore, India, Taiwan (new record).
3 females, Baguashan, Changhua, 16-May-2001,M. M. Yang; 4 females, Pintung city 22-Agu.-2006, K. W. Huang; 3 females, Guosing, Nantou, 22-Sep.-2006, K. W. Huang; ex. Litchi chinensis Sonn, Lychee.(Sapindaceae) .
Relation to hosts: Erineum on the lower surface of leaf.
Distribution: USA, India, Pakistan, Australia, mainland China, Japan, Thailand, Bangladesh, Taiwan.
Note: This species was found associated with the vagrant mite, Notacaphylla chinensiae Mohanasundaram & Singh, 1988 , on Litchi chinensis in Taiwan.
