Distribution in Iran: Northern Iran (Mroczkowsky 1962), no locality cited (Tezcan et al. 2004; Háva 2007a, 2015a; Herrmann et al. 2010; Bulak et al. 2013).
Distribution outside Iran: Azerbaijan, Corsica (introduced), Georgia, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, South Africa (Pretoria) (introduced) ( Háva 2015a).
