FEMALE — (Specimens measured — Cameroon: 4; Democratic Republic of Congo: holotype).

Dorsum — Dorsal shield smooth, 354(333–378) [376] long and 202(198–208) [220] wide. Setae j1 29(27–32) [31], j3 38(32–40) [40], j4 8(6–10) [8], j5 8(6–11) [8], j6 10(8– 13) [8], J1 13 (present on the dorsal shield of only 1 specimen), J2 13(8–18) [11], J5 8 [9], z2 10(8–13) [9], z4 10(8–13) [9], z5 9(8–13) [8], Z1 14(10–19) [11], Z4 15(10–24) [12], Z5 72(67–75) [78], s4 47 (35–56) [48], S2 14 (11–19) [11], S4 14 (11–18) [11], S5 12 (10– 14) [11], r3 15(14–16) [12], R1 11(10–13) [11]. All setae smooth, except Z5 wich is lightly serrate.

Peritreme — Extending to base of j1.

Venter — Distances between St1–St3 68(64–72) [67], St2–St2 73(66–78) [68], St5– St5 79(72–83) [83]. Ventrianal shield 111(104–120) [120] long, 65(64–67) [66] wide at level of Zv2 and 65(64–66) [74] wide at level of anus, with a pair of elliptical pores posteromesad of Jv2. One pair of metapodal shields; caudoventral setae smooth and sharptipped.

Chelicera — Movable digit 34(33–35) [36] long, with 4 [5] teeth; fixed digit 30 [30] long, with 10 [11] teeth and distinguishable pilus dentilis.

Spermatheca — Calyx cup­shaped, with walls apparently blurred, 13 long; atrium bulbous.

Legs — Macrosetae sharp­tipped; Sge I 46 (38–51) [46], Sge II 40 (30–46) [39], Sge III 47 (35–51) [39], Sti III 37 (29–43) [37], Sge IV 80 (56–93) [63], Sti IV 54 (40–62) [60], St IV 90 (74–104) [94]. Chaetotaxy of genu III: 1­2/1,2/0­1.

SPECIMENS EXAMINED: Cameroon: 1 km SW Nkoteng, Ndole, Central Province, on Vernonia amygdalina , 05­II­1991, A. Onzo; 14 km SW Mvieng, Southern Province, on Persea americana , 07­II­1991, L. Louis; 12 km W Angale, Southern Province, on Bambusa sp., 07­II­1991, A. Onzo. Democratic Republic of Congo ( Belgian Congo): holotype female from Lubero, on Podocarpus usambarensis , 09­V­1955, E.W. Baker.

REMARKS — Seta J1 was present in the unique specimen collected on Vernonia amygdalina in Cameroon.

WORLD DISTRIBUTION — Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo.
