Speckled Scorpionfish. To 33 cm (13 in) TL (John Snow, pers. comm. to M.L.). At least as far north as Todos Santos (23°24.6’N, 110°13.8’W), southern Baja California (John Snow, pers. comm. to M.L.) to Peru (4°55’S, 81°19’W) ( Chirichigno 1974), including Gulf of California (Poss in Fischer et al. 1995). Benthic; depth: about 20 m (66 ft) ( Aguilar-Palomino et al. 2001) to 351 m (1,151 ft) ( Robertson and Allen 2008).
