Equatorial Skate. To 88 cm (34.6 in) TL (Weigman 2016). Laguna de San Ignacio, southern Baja California ( De La Cruz-Agüero and Cota-Gómez 1998) to Peru (4°43’S, 81°23’W) ( Chirichigno and Vélez 1998). Benthic; depth: 20–200 m (66–660 ft) ( Robertson and Allen 2002). Formerly Raja equatorialis Jordan & Bollman, 1890.
