Cabo San Lucas, southern Baja California to southern Mexico, including Gulf of California ( Thomson et al. 1979). Depth: intertidal to 5 m (17 ft) (min.: Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California; max.: Robertson and Allen 2002).
