Inopsetta ischyra ( Jordan and Gilbert, 1880) .

Hybrid Sole or Forkline Sole. To 46 cm (18.1 in) TL ( Kramer et al. 1995). Likely at least southern British Columbia to San Francisco, California. Alaska records are without documentation ( Garrett et al. 2007). Benthic; depth: perhaps 5–50 m (15–164 ft) (min.: Personal communication: University of Washington, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture Fish Collection, Seattle, Washington; max: Personal communication: University of Washington, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture Fish Collection, Seattle, Washington). A hybrid of Parophry vetulus Girard, 1854 and Platichthys stellatus (Pallas, 1787) .
