No spinules at ventral base of fore basitarsus. Legs without remarkable bristling. Hind leg of gladiator curiously deformed. Third antennal segment with a very long, acute point, nearly five times as long as basally deep. Face narrow, or eyes touching each other on face. No wing stigma. Hypopygium small, globular. Surstyli short and broad.

Known distribution. Borneo.

Species included. Teuchophorus ensicornis sp. nov.; Teuchophorus gladiator sp. nov.
