Diagnosis (from Fachin et al. 2018). Antenna with 3–5 flagellomeres, basal flagellomere enlarged, laterally compressed, distal flagellomeres not narrow and elongated. Clypeus subtriangular, recessed beneath head. M 3 missing or reduced to a small stump between M 2 and M 4 emerging from the discal cell. Male gonocoxal apodeme absent. Female segments 6–8 much narrower than preceding abdominal segments, tergite 8 divided, cercus one-segmented.
