Type data. This species was described based on seven specimens of both sexes collected in Colombia and Panama. According to the original description, the holotype and three paratypes are housed at NHMUK, one paratype female in AMNH and two in DZUP. However, a paratype female was housed at MNRJ which is currently destroyed.
