Female

Frons brown with 4 SAs­0­0­6 bristles. Eyes relatively large (with>30 ommatidia in each eye). Postpedicel (third antennal segment) light brown and with only three SPS vesicles, which are larger than sockets of upper SA bristles. Palps paler brown with five bristles and a dozen hairs. Light brown labrum distinctly wider than postpedicel. Brown thorax with a bristle behind spiracle; an alar bristle on distinct pale oval wing remnant; and four bristles at rear margin, the inner pair being closer to each other than either is to an outer bristle. Abdominal tergites brown, T1 being darkest, T2 a little paler and T3­T6 paler brown. T4­T6 as Fig. 5 View FIGURES 3 ­ 6 Venter pale brown with numerous hairs above and below.

Legs with brown femora and tibiae and paler tarsi. The shorter (anterior) spur of hind tibia is situated distinctly further than usual from the tip than the longer spur.

HOLOTYPE female, Brazil, Rondônia, near Cacaulandia, Fazenda Rancho Grande, 25 December 1995, D. H. & A. C. Kistner (5278) ( CUMZ ­ 31­5).
