Maladera ventralis ( Brenske, 1897)
Autoserica ventralis Brenske, 1897: 397 .
Maladera ventralis: Ahrens 2006b: 238 ; 2007b: 25.
Remarks. The species was originally described from China, Kiukiang (Pratt, Mai 1887). The types of this species, which Brenske (1897) indicated were deposited in the former Museum Tring, have not been found in any museum. The type specimens could be labelled “ ventricosa ” since Brenske (1897: 398) mentioned that he subsequently changed the name to Autoserica ventralis .
