Etymology. Epithet, a noun in apposition, is taken from type locality.

Diagnosis. Among the species of the genus, the male of R. barbado sp. nov. is most similar to that of R. otti sp. nov., as it has an elongated and flattened embolus, almost parallel to the longitudinal axis, with a fold at the most apical region (compare Figs 7A, 7C View FIGURE 7 ). The male of R. barbado sp. nov. can be distinguished by the membranous lamella on the prolateral side of the embolus ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ; smooth embolus in S. otti sp. nov., Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ).

Chelicera, labium, endite and sternum dark brown ( Fig. 5B View FIGURE 5 ). Leg formula: 4312; length of legs: I 2.75 (0.84 + 0.45 + 0.72 + 0.43 + 0.31), II 2.16 (0.65 + 0.36 + 0.53 + 0.36 + 0.26), III 2.85 (0.96 + 0.45 + 0.60 + 0.53 + 0.31), IV 2.88 (0.89 + 0.36 + 0.60 + 0.65 + 0.38). Legs I–IV: femora, patellae, tibiae, and metatarsi dark brown, tarsi yellow. Tibia I macrosetae well developed, with tips of a more proximal pair surpassing insertions of the spines of a more distal pair. Abdomen dorsally dark brown, with a light brown transverse band on the posterior region ( Fig. 5A View FIGURE 5 ). Ventrally brown ( Fig. 5B View FIGURE 5 ). Spinnerets dark brown.
