Global distribution: NT (Present paper)
Argentinian distribution: Neuquén, Río Negro, Santa Cruz.
Ecology: This species was found in temporary environments. It was recorded at altitudes ranging between 525 and 909 m a.s.l., with water temperatures from 11.2 to 13.5 °C, in alkaline waters (pH: 8.8–9.5), electrical conductivity values ranging between 466 and 9945 μS/cm and dissolved oxygen concentration around 9.7 mg /l.
