28- Heterocypris incongruens ( Ramdohr, 1808)

Global distribution: AT, AU, NA, NT, OL, PA, PAC.

Argentinian distribution: Buenos Aires, Jujuy, La Pampa, Mendoza, Río Negro, Santa Cruz.

Ecology: This species was recorded in both temporary and permanent environments, stagnant and flowing waters. It occurred in a wide altitude range (5–3486 m a.s.l.), with neutral to alkaline waters (pH: 7.5–9.8) and electrical conductivity values ranging between 257 and 4800 μS/cm.
