Subgenus Paradyschirius Fedorenko, 1996
This subgenus was established and revised by FEDORENKO (1996, 1997a). To date it contains 20 species (14 from the Old World and six from North and Central America), divided into two species groups: the D. dispar group with a single South African species and the D. substriatus group with three subgroups: the D. analis subgroup (four Palaearctic species), the D. verticalis subgroup (three Indian and a single West African species) and the D. substriatus subgroup (East Palaearctic and a single West Palaearctic species).
