Material examined. 1 ♂, labeled ‘ CHINA: Yunnan Prov., Nanbanhe N. R. (纳板河自然保护区), Guomenshan (过门山), alt. 700 m, 07.v.2009, Jia-Yao Hu & Zi-Wei Yin leg.’; 2 ♀♀, same locality, alt. 1200 m, 08.v.2009, Jia- Yao Hu & Zi-Wei Yin leg.’; 1 sex?, also from Nabanhe, Hulaoxinzhai (回老新寨) & Laoyinshuichi (老饮水池), alt. 1250 m, 04.v.2009, Jia-Yao Hu & Zi-Wei Yin leg.’; 1 ♂, labeled ‘ CHINA: Guangdong Prov., Ruanyuan County (乳源县), Nanling N. R. (南岭自然保护区), alt. 1500–1800 m, 17.viii.2008, Zi-wei Yin leg.’ (all SNUC)

Measurements. BL: 4.40–5.63; FBL: 2.01–2.52; HW: 0.67–0.72; PL: 0.65–0.80; PW: 0.73–0.91; EL: 0.79– 0.92; EW: 1.24–1.44; SL: 0.45–0.61

Comments. Tetrabothrus puetzi was compared to the original description of T. taiwanensis Pace and the illustration of a paratype of T. taiwanensis ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 ), and we conclude that the major diagnostic characters of these two species are very similar. We suspect that these two species may be conspecific. A further examination of the types of these two species is required for a positive statement..
