Present name: Ablepharus lindbergi Wettstein, 1960 fide Sindaco & Eremchenko (2008). Remarks: Holotype NMW 15877, from “Ev. Herat . W.– Afghanistan ” according to the original description; “E Herat, W-Afghanistan (Steppe einige km W Obek)” fide Tiedemann et al. (1994).
