Although widespread across much of the eastern United States, this uncommonly encountered eucnemid species was previously recorded from District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin ( Muona 2000) and reported here for the first time in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont. Specimens were taken from a Lindgren funnel trap and an intercept panel trap. MASSACHUSETTS: Hampshire County : 1 km NNE Hadley Reservoir, 10–21 July 2015, T.
